Recycle - Frederick County

NOTE: You will need the serial number imprinted in white one-inch-tall text on the front side of the recycling cart to submit this request.
Submissions missing this information will not be completed.

Each single family household is entitled to one recycling cart at no charge. Recycling is not mandated by the County
and so you may return your County-issued cart at any time if you choose to do so.

If the cart you are requesting to be removed is not assigned to your address, please bear in mind the following:

Wait at least 10 days (one whole recycling collection cycle) before reporting a cart abandoned. This allows
the rightful user the time to claim their cart.
Indicate the exact location of the cart so that the crews can find it.
